Inmate missing from community corrections facility


December 30, 2024 (Lincoln, Neb.) – Authorities have been notified about an inmate missing from the Community Corrections Center – Lincoln (CCC-L). Erica Gonzales #393091 left her place of employment yesterday evening, and her electronic monitor was found near 27th and Pine Lake Road in Lincoln.   

Gonzales started her sentence on March 2, 2023. She was sentenced to two to five years for theft by shoplifting out of Douglas County. She has a tentative release date of March 11, 2025.

Gonzales is a 34-year-old Black female, 5’ 4”, 195 lbs. with black hair and brown eyes. Anyone with knowledge of her whereabouts is asked to contact local authorities or the Nebraska State Patrol.

CCC-L is one of two community custody facilities operated by NDCS. Community custody is the lowest custody level and the least restrictive facility. Inmates are allowed to participate in work opportunities, attend school and religious services with prior approval and without direct supervision.
