Jasa Named Big Ten Pitcher of the Week

Redshirt sophomore Carson Jasa has been named the Big Ten’s Pitcher of the Week, the league office announced Monday afternoon.
Jasa improved to 9-2 on the season after dealing seven shutout innings in Nebraska’s 10-0 run-rule victory against Iowa on Friday.
The right-hander allowed just two singles and struck out nine with a pair of walks. With the seven shutout innings, Jasa picked up his sixth quality start of the season.
