Kearney Area Concerned Citizens Reflect on Thanksgiving Dinner

The 40 Annual Free Thanksgiving Dinner has come and gone, and we would like to thank all our wonderful volunteers…we were so blessed with the number of volunteers that helped on Wednesday with all the dinner preparations and on Thanksgiving Day with serving the meal. Special thanks to those that came and helped with our clean up…that was an absolute gift that we were so grateful for!!!

We loved seeing all the people that came to the hall to join us for Thanksgiving dinner, we do love that part most of all. We have so much fun chatting with our guests, sharing the day with those that are familiar to us and meeting new friends and families, that is truly what it is all about.

Our goal this year was to get more people to the hall to join us for a Thanksgiving meal, the friendship, the fellowship and a really nice time, so if you came to the hall to join us, we are so thankful for you and we hope that you enjoyed the delicious Thanksgiving meal and had some fun too!!!

Thank you to all that donated so that we can continue this annual dinner, there is no possible way that we could do it without the support of our generous community!! This year the Kearney Area Concerned Citizens are very pleased to be part of the “Give Where You Live” campaign!!!

This year we served and or delivered, 1,458 meals. Until next year, we thank you and we wish everyone a blessed holiday season and very happy new year!!!
