Kearney Man Arrested following High-Risk Search Warrant

KEARNEY - On February 24th around 9:00am, members of the Kearney Police Department and Buffalo County Sheriff’s Office Emergency Service Unit (ESU) served a high-risk search warrant at Centennial Park Apartments, located at 1000 4th Avenue. Christopher Aron, a 39-year-old Kearney man was arrested on the following charges, Use of a Firearm to Commit a Felony, Possession of a Firearm by a Prohibited Person, Terroristic Threats, 1st Degree False Imprisonment, 3rd Degree Domestic Assault, as well as a Parole detainer. Aron was arrested without incident. Due to the nature of the charges, the arrest warrant was served by the ESU team.

We would like to thank the Buffalo County Sheriff’s Office, Good Samaritan Hospital Ambulance Crew, Buffalo County Attorney’s Office, and the Kearney Volunteer Fire Department for their assistance during the execution of this search warrant.
