LB669 Dominated Discussion at Legislature Tuesday
Senators spent the entire session Tuesday on LB669.
LB669 updates our state’s informed consent statutory framework for abortion by removing the sections of Neb. Rev. Stat. § 28-326 through -327.12 that have been deemed unconstitutional and adds new language to ensure proper screening, evaluation, and assistance for instances of coercion, domestic violence, and human trafficking. These changes will restore enforceability of Nebraska's informed consent framework and strengthen protections for women.

LB1005, introduced by District 37 Stan Clouse of Kearney, came before a hearing of the Transportation and Telecommunications committee at the Nebraska Legislature. LB 1005 provides for the operation of all-terrain vehicles and utility-type vehicles between sunset and sunrise.
