LSW Downs Grand Island Baseball 8-4

(Grand Island, NE) - The Grand Island Senior High baseball team fell to Lincoln Southwest on Thursday at Ryder Park by the final score of 8-4. GI outhit the Silver Hawks nine to five. Ethan Foley, Ian Arends, and Gabe Ruiz each had two hits for the Islanders in the game. Foley, Ruiz, and Jack Steenson each drove in one run for Grand Island. 

GI is now 15-7 on the season and will up the regular season with three games left. Saturday, April 27th Grand Island will travel to Elkhorn North for a triangular taking on the Wolves and Gretna East. Then on Monday, April 29th Grand Island will host Columbus at Ryder Park.
