NBA’s Baylor Scheierman To Visit Epic Discovery Center
Aurora Native and Boston Celtic Basketball Player Baylor Scheierman will be making a stop at the new EPIC Discovery Center Tuesday July 7th for its Meet Your Heroes Summer Camp, following that there will be a community meet-and-greet open to the public from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM.
Born and raised in Aurora, Nebraska, Scheierman was a standout multi-sport athlete before beginning his collegiate basketball career at South Dakota State University. He later transferred to Creighton University, where he earned All-American honors and was named First-Team All-BIG EAST. In 2024, he was selected with the 30th overall pick in the NBA Draft by the Boston Celtics, where he continues his professional career.
The meet-and-greet will take place at EPIC Discovery Center, with guests asked to enter through the south doors. The event is first-come, first-served, and timing may vary slightly based on the morning’s schedule. Those wishing to meet Scheierman are encouraged to arrive early.
