NDOT Hosts Groundbreaking on US-30 Grand Island West
June 10, 2024 (Lincoln, Neb.) — The Nebraska Department of Transportation (NDOT) together with the City of Grand Island and Werner Construction, Inc. will host a press conference today at 1 p.m. to break ground on US-30 Grand Island West. Hear the complete press conference below.
This group discussed the construction of the 4-lane expressway and the realignment of existing roads to line up to the proposed US-30 alignment. This significant highway expansion project marks a new chapter in the enhancement of Nebraska's expressway system and reflects NDOT’s commitment to improving safety, connectivity, and economic development across the state. Through the unwavering support of the Build Nebraska Act and the Transportation Innovation Act this project has been made possible.
