Nebraska Chamber Road Show Coming to Grand Island
GRAND ISLAND, NE – The Nebraska Chamber of Commerce & Industry is bringing its statewide
Road Show to Grand Island on Wednesday, August 19, from 12:00-1:30 p.m., in the Community
Room on the second floor of Chief Industries, Inc.
Hosted in partnership with the Grand Island Area Economic Development Corporation & Chamber
of Commerce, the Road Show gives business leaders and community members the opportunity to
hear updates on legislative priorities, discuss issues impacting Nebraska businesses, and connect with
Nebraska Chamber leadership.
Nebraska Chamber President & CEO Joseph Young and Executive Vice President of Legislation &
Policy Hunter Traynor will lead the discussion, sharing updates on statewide legislative priorities,
business initiatives, and the work of the Nebraska Chamber. Additional Nebraska Chamber staff and
local leaders will also participate.
"When we visit our members across the state, we gain insight into the issues that are unique to their
community or region," said Young. "This input is vital to understanding local needs and advancing
policies to make Nebraska the best state in the country to do business."
Attendees will receive a recap of this year's legislative session, a look ahead at next year's priorities,
updates on the Nebraska Chamber's initiatives, and the opportunity to meet Young, hear about his
vision for the organization, and participate in a Q&A session.
The event is open to community members, and registration is required. Attendees are asked to
