Nebraska State Fair announces Twisted Chrome and Stampede Series lineup
The Nebraska State Fair is bringing back fan-favorite motorsports and rodeo action in 2026, with the return of the Twisted Chrome series at the State Fair Motorsports Park and the Stampede Series at the US Foods Outdoor Arena.
From roaring engines to breathtaking rodeos, the events showcase some of the Fair's most exciting and high-energy experiences.
Twisted Chrome: State Fair Motorsports Park
The Twisted Chrome series kicks off opening night of the Fair with the Nebraska Bush Pullers Truck & Tractor Pull on Friday, August 28. Fans can expect powerful machines, intense competition and plenty of dirt-flying action as drivers put their vehicles to the test.
On Sunday, August 30, the Fair hosts Crossroads Chaos: Nebraska’s Ultimate Figure 8 Showdown, a fast-paced event known for its unpredictable turns, crashes and crowd-favorite moments.
The action returns on Monday, September 7 with the Nebraska Demolition Derby Championship, where drivers go head-to-head in one of the Fair’s most popular and hard-hitting traditions.
Stampede Series: US Foods Outdoor Arena
Rodeo returns to the Nebraska State Fair with the Stampede Series, beginning with the Rough Stock Rodeo on Saturday, August 29. Featuring events like bull and bronc riding, the rodeo highlights the skill and grit of competitors in classic Western events.
The series continues Saturday, September 5 with the Ranch Rodeo, where working cowboys and cowgirls compete in events that reflect real-life ranch skills and teamwork.
