Northwest Basketball Wins Two At Kearney Catholic

(Kearney, NE) - The Northwest Viking basketball teams would snag two wins on Saturday afternoon at Kearney Catholic. The Viking girls would defeat the Stars 45-34. The Northwest boys would defeat Kearney Catholic 61-32. 

Northwest kicked off the season on Friday at Gretna East. The girls would fall to the Giffins 57-29. The Northeast boys would fall 57-52. Northwest would be down 12 at the halftime break and come back to take the lead at the end of the third quarter, 40-38. 

Next action: Friday, December 12th vs Crete. Saturday, December 13th vs Seward.
