Northwest FFA Members Finish As State Proficiency Finalists

(Lincoln, NE) - The Northwest FFA program had three State Proficiency finalists for this year's state FFA convention, being held in Lincoln. Levi Bruns earned first and is the state winner in Small Animal Production. Wyatt Knapp earned third place in Diversified Ag Production, and Jacey Knapp earned third place in Landscape Management. 

Each Spring, more than 7,000 FFA members, advisors and guests come to Lincoln to celebrate the annual Nebraska State FFA Convention. Members participate in general sessions, competitive events, educational tours, leadership workshops, and Career Fair and Expo. Events are held at Pinnacle Bank Arena, Haymarket area hotels and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln East Campus. 

This year's State FFA convention will run from April 3rd through the 5th.
