Northwest Girls Claim Central Conference Tournament

(Seward, NE) -The Northwest girls' soccer team would win its fourth straight Central Conference tournament on Monday in Seward.
The Vikings would claim a 4-0 win over the host Seward Bluejays in the semi-final match. Northwest would get two goals from Evie Keller and a goal apiece from Lupe Sanchez and Mariana Rodriguez.
In the championship match, Northwest would run away from Lexington by a final score of 7-1. Anna Keller would have two goals to lead the way for the Vikings in scoring. Northwest would also get a goal from Leah Carlson, Ava Smith, Evelyn Poland, Evie Keller, and Lupe Sanchez.
Northwest is now 10-2 on the season and will next be in action on Tuesday, April 22nd, hosting Schuyler. Jv matches will take place at 4:30 pm. Varsity girls will be at 5:30 pm, with the boys to follow at 7:15 pm.
