Northwest Names Bill Bradley New Head Girls Basketball Coach
(Grand Island, NE) - The Northwest Vikings girls' basketball team has a new head coach. Announced on Wednesday morning, April 1st, Bill Bradley will be taking over for Derek Lindsey, who stepped down at the end of this past season.
Bradley comes from the state of Georgia with a decorated teaching and coaching career. His recent stop was at Habersham Central High School in Mt Airy, GA, from 2019-2025. During his time, his teams made the 6A Georgia state basketball tournament six different times. In 2021, 2023, and 2024, the Raiders finished as Region Runners-Up. In Bradley's final season, his squad claimed the 8AAAAA Region Championship.
Bradley also has head coaching stops in Highland Ranch, Colorado, Louisville, Colorado, Loganville, Georgia, and Milan, Tennessee.
Bill Bradley will also serve as a business teacher at Northwest High School.
