Northwest Soccer Clubs Win At Aurora

(Aurora, NE) - The Northwest soccer teams made the short road trip to Aurora on Tuesday afternoon to battle the Huskies. The Northwest boys would win 2-0 for their second win of the season. The Vikings would score both of their goals in the first half. Martin Aguilera would get a corner kick in for a Evan Wiles header goal. Then Aguilera would get a penalty kick for the second goal. The Vikings are now 2-3 on the season.
In the girls' match, Northwest would run away from Aurora 9-0. The Vikings would get goals from seven different Vikings. Ava Waind and Lupe Sanchez would each have two goals in the match. Five others would have a goal each, including Ava Smith, Evelyn Poland, Evie Keller, Anna Keller, and Taylor Brown. Northwest is now 5-0 on the season.
Both Viking teams will be back in action on Thursday, April 3rd at York.
