Northwest Volleyball Downs North Platte

(North Platte, NE) - The Northwest volleyball picked up its seventh win of the season on Thursday night, defeating North Platte in four sets, 25-16, 25-11, 22-25, 25-8. 

Northwest was led by Ava Janulewicz with 16 kills, along with Nasya Anderson with 14. Setter Kenna Bowman had 46 set assists. 

The Vikings would get 12 ace serves on the night. Chloe Thielen would lead the charge behind the service line with 4 aces. Allie Nelson and Ava Janulewicz would each have 3 aces. 

The Vikings are now 7-3 on the season and will be back in action on Tuesday, September 16th, hosting a triangular with Minden and Hastings. Thursday, September 18th, Northwest will head to Waverly. Listen live on 103.1 FM at 7:00 pm.
