Phase 2 of Hastings Southeast project water main relocation Under Way

Phase 2 of the Hastings Utility Department’s water main relocation along U.S. Highway 6 began on Tuesday, April 14.
The City of Hastings is coordinating the water main relocation as part of the Nebraska Department of Transportation’s Hastings Southeast Project and hired Van Kirk Bros. Contracting to install the water main. Phase 2 includes work along U.S. Highway 6 between Second Avenue and Showboat Boulevard.
While the project is not anticipated to affect traffic, motorists are asked to use caution while passing through the area.
