Plummer Named GPAC Pitcher Of The Week

Riley Plummer of Doane University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports pitcher-of-the-week. Plummer, a freshman from Grand Island, Nebraska, threw his first career shutout, going nine innings against Hastings. The nine-inning complete game was the first for Doane since 2021 (Kyler Beekman), and the nine-inning complete game shutout was the first since 2019 (Lukas White). He finished the regular season with an 8-0 record, tied for most wins in the GPAC this season, and a 3.08 earned run average, second in the GPAC by 0.01.
