Prairie Pioneer Quilters Guild Exhibit on Display at Grand Island Public Library Throughout May
Grand Island, Neb. — The Grand Island Public Library is hosting a special quilt exhibit throughout the month of May, featuring the handcrafted work of members of the Prairie Pioneer Quilters Guild of Grand Island.
The exhibit will be on display now through May 30 in the library’s Art Alcove, highlighting the skill, creativity and artistry of local quilters. Visitors are invited to explore a diverse collection of handmade quilts that reflect both traditional techniques and contemporary design, offering a unique opportunity to experience the craftsmanship and storytelling behind each piece.
The Prairie Pioneer Quilters Guild was established in August 1986 with a mission to promote and preserve the art of quilting through educational programming, travel opportunities, fellowship and a wide range of quilting activities. The guild continues to serve as a vibrant community for quilters of all skill levels.
