Railside to Host Free Downtown Development Tour

Grand Island, Neb. — The public is invited to experience firsthand the exciting transformation taking place in downtown Grand Island during the Downtown Development Tour on Wednesday, June 26.

From 4 - 7 p.m., Railside will be offering residents, business owners and visitors the opportunity to explore current redevelopment projects and learn more about the vision shaping the heart of the city.

Attendees will begin their self-guided tour at the Tourism Office, located at 201 W. 3rd Street, where they will receive maps and information to guide them through several featured properties and projects that highlight the growth, investment and innovation underway in the Railside District.

  *   EBMT Apartments – 313–315 N. Locust St.

The Downtown Development Tour is part of a broader effort to showcase the momentum of Grand Island’s urban core and to foster a deeper connection between the community and the spaces that shape its future.
