Red Flag Warning Expanded

We have expanded the Red Flag Warning to include areas east of Hastings, and all of north central Kansas. 

Of importance....

1. Areas along and west of Highway 281 will experience Red Flag conditions by Noon (some already are, such as Cambridge). 

2. Areas east of 281 will experience these conditions beginning after 1 or 2 PM and lasting into the evening. 

All areas will be very dry (relative humidity below 15%) by late afternoon.
