Ron Priebe ‘64 added to Hastings College Athletic Hall of Fame class as Legacy inductee
(Hastings, Nebraska) – Hastings College has announced that Ron Priebe, a standout men’s basketball player from the class of 1964, will be enshrined in its Athletic Hall of Fame as a Legacy inductee during Homecoming festivities later this month.
Priebe, a resident of Gibbon, Nebraska, was a four-year letterwinner and a three-year starter for the Broncos. Playing his junior and senior seasons under legendary head coach Lynn "Doc" Farrell, Priebe averaged 11 points per game and earned Omaha World-Herald All-State honors as a junior, followed by an Honorable Mention selection as a senior. During his senior campaign, he helped lead the Broncos to a 23-4 record and a berth in the NAIA National Tournament in Kansas City.
Priebe joins a decorated 37th Athletic Hall of Fame class that originally featured seven individual student-athletes and two national championship teams.

Banquet Details & Registration
The induction reception and banquet will take place on Saturday, September 26, in conjunction with Hastings College Homecoming.
The celebration begins with a social hour at 5:00 p.m. in Kiewit Gymnasium (715 E. 7th Street, Hastings), followed by the banquet at 5:30 p.m.
