He also leads the conference in three-pointers per game (3.1) and defensive rebounds per game (7.3) while ranking second with 35.7 minutes per game. On the 2024 Wooden Award™ Late Season Top 20, two players made their return on the Wooden Watch™: Johni Broome (Auburn) and DaRon Holmes II (Dayton). Two schools have multiple players on the list: Kansas (Hunter Dickinson & Kevin McCullar Jr.) and North Carolina (Armando Bacot & RJ Davis).

The ACC leads all conferences with four selections on the Wooden Award Late Season Top 20, followed by the Big East, Big 12 and SEC with three selections each, the American and Pac-12 with two selections each and the Atlantic 10, Big Ten and Mountain West with one selection apiece.

The players on the list are considered strong candidates for the 2024 John R. Wooden Award Men's Player of the Year presented by Principal. Players not chosen to the late season list are still eligible for the Wooden Award™ National Ballot. The National Ballot consists of 15 top players who have proven to their universities that they meet or exceed the qualifications of the Wooden Award.
