Section of C Street closing in Hastings

April 28, 2026 (Hastings, Neb.) — Weather permitting, on April 30, a section of C Street east of 5th Avenue will be closed, according to the Nebraska Department of Transportation.
Local traffic should use the temporary road that has been constructed to maintain access to their homes during construction. Work includes grading, storm sewer and concrete paving. This work will take approximately 6-10 weeks.
Motorists are reminded to drive cautiously in and near work zones, to buckle up, and put phones down.
