Ramsey claimed first place honors for the third year in a row at the Nebraska Inspector Championships. The competition was held this weekend in Grand Island, in conjunction with the Nebraska Truck Driving Championships.
Sgt. Ramsey is a 25-year veteran of the Nebraska State Patrol and is stationed in Omaha. Second place honors went to Investigator Kris Hunzeker, who has been with NSP for 23 years. Both serve in the Carrier Enforcement Division.
During the competition, each participant goes through a table-top exercise, various hands-on inspections, and a personal interview. Carrier Enforcement commanders also assist with the truck driving competition.
Sgt. Ramsey will represent Nebraska at the North American Inspector Championships, which will be held in Pittsburgh, PA, in August.
