Shelley Earns Spot All-Star Game Watch List

Nebraska's Jaz Shelley has been named to the watch list for the 2024 Women's College All-Star Game , Intersport announced on Thursday, Feb. 29.

The Women's College All-Star Game will be televised live on ESPN2 Saturday, April 6 at 2:30 p.m. (CT) from the Wolstein Center in downtown Cleveland, the home city of the 2024 NCAA Women's Final Four. The All-Star Game will occur between the national semifinals (April 5) and the NCAA Championship Game (April 7).

Shelley was one 58 collegians who could exhaust their eligibility and play in the All-Star Game. Other players from the Big Ten Conference on the watch list include Caitlin Clark (Iowa), Mackenzie Holmes and Sara Scalia (Indiana), Jacy Sheldon (Ohio State) and Makenna Marisa (Penn State).

Shelley, a first-team All-Big Ten selection in 2023 and a preseason first-team All-Big Ten choice in 2024, was the Associated Press National Player of the Week (Feb. 13). The 5-9 guard from Moe, Australia has scored more than 1,200 points and dished out more than 500 assists in her three seasons at Nebraska. She led the Huskers to the NCAA Tournament in 2022 and has Nebraska in the hunt for a top-four seed and another 20-win season entering its final game of the regular season at Illinois on Sunday.

Despite playing just three seasons in Lincoln, Shelley ranks No. 4 in career three-pointers made (222) at Nebraska, while ranking No. 6 in career assists with 510. She owns the Nebraska record with two career triple-doubles while ranking No. 20 in school history with 1,244 points. One of the top defensive guards in the Big Ten as well, she earned a spot on the 2022 Big Ten All-Defensive Team and has totaled 160 steals as a Husker.

Shelley and the Huskers will close the regular season on Sunday, March 3 at Illinois. Tip-off with the Fighting Illini is set for 3 p.m. (CT) with live television coverage by BTN and free live audio from the Huskers Radio Network on Huskers.com and the Huskers App.
