Shelton Volunteer Fire Department Seeking Equipment Donations

As the dry season continues in the State of Nebraska, one area fire department is seeking help in keeping their department properly equipped.  On Sunday, the Shelton Volunteer Fire Department put out a Facebook post asking for help with donations/equipment purchases that will benefit the Shelton Volunteer Fire Department.

"As many of you know, we are part of the Buffalo County Task Force Team, and with the extreme dry conditions this year, we’ve already been deployed multiple times across the state.

Our wildland firefighters are often sent into remote areas where basic supplies aren’t always available. They work long hours in harsh conditions often without reliable access to essentials.

These firefighters put everything on the line to protect communities, yet they don’t always have what they need when they need it most.

With your support, we can help provide critical gear and supplies to keep our firefighters safe, fueled, and prepared to continue protecting lives, land, and property.
