Snow Expected Early in the Week

Snow expected in the Region.
Chances for snow will come in 2 rounds: Monday afternoon into at least part of the day Tuesday and then again Tuesday evening through Wednesday evening.
The first round Mon-Tue looks to be light, with any accumulations expected to be an inch or less.
The more significant chances spread across the area Tuesday evening/night, continuing into the daytime hours on Wednesday. Locations roughly along and south of the NE-KS state line are currently forecast to get the highest amounts (several inches possible). Snow ends from west to east Wednesday evening.
A Winter Storm Watch is in effect for north central KS from 6 PM Tuesday - 6 PM Wednesday. The Wednesday morning commute could be rough for some locations.
Winds are not looking to be significant (gusts around 20 MPH possible). Direction Monday-Wednesday will vary from easterly to northerly.
Wind Chill values of -10 to -20 will be possible across the area Wednesday night-Thursday morning.
