St. Francis Foundation’s Ticket to Win Kicking-Off Ninth Year
GRAND ISLAND, Neb. — CHI Health St. Francis Foundation Ticket to Win is returning for its ninth year. Ticket sales, for the Foundation’s premiere fundraising raffle, kick-off at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, April 15 in Conference Room 2/3 at the hospital. Raffle tickets, priced at $100 each, will be available at the kick-off event.
The Ticket to Win raffle drawing offers a grand prize of $10,000, a first prize of $5,000, and ten additional $500 cash card prizes. The winning tickets will be announced at the annual Ticket to Win social, a free event open to the community, held at the hospital on Thursday, June 4, starting at 4:30 p.m.
Half of all proceeds from Ticket to Win each year provides life-saving equipment and training to emergency first responders for unbudgeted items in Hall, Hamilton, Howard, Merrick and Greeley counties–over $614,907 has been distributed since its start.
The remaining half of this year’s proceeds will go toward creating a Baby Bereavement Suite at the hospital. This private suite will allow parents the time and space to grieve following the unimaginable loss of a newborn.
A vision of the Baby Bereavement suite will be shown during the kick-off event.
After the kick-off event, raffle tickets can be purchased in the hospital’s gift shop and Foundation office; or from any board member or trustee. Tickets can also be purchased online at: www.give.commonspirit.org/TicketToWin.
In addition to prize drawings, the annual Ticket to Win social event will feature gourmet appetizers, a silent and live auction and drawings for several must-be-present-to-win door prizes including cash cards for general attendees and gift cards for emergency first responders who are in attendance.
