Strike Up the Band: Alumni Invited to March in Harvest of Harmony Parade

GRAND ISLAND, NE — A cherished Grand Island tradition is fast approaching, and all former band members are invited to dust off their instruments and join the Harvest of Harmony Alumni Band. Whether you marched in high school, played in college or haven’t picked up your instrument in years, this is your opportunity to celebrate music, community and tradition by taking part in one of Nebraska’s most beloved events.

The Alumni Band is open to participants of all ages and experience levels. All that’s required is enthusiasm and a love for music.

Band Practice Dates:
September 13, 6:30 - 7:30 p.m.
September 20, 6:30 - 7:30 p.m.
September 27, 6:30 - 7:30 p.m.

All Band practice dates will be held in the Central Community College parking lot located at 3134 W US HWY 34, Grand Island, NE.

Joining the Alumni Band is a great way to reconnect with fellow musicians, represent your alma mater, and help keep the spirit of Harvest of Harmony alive.
