Teen Library Council Meeting Set for September

Grand Island, Neb. — Teens ages 12-18 are invited to join us for TLC-the Teen Library Council. This group meets once a month, generally on the first Tuesday of each month, at 6pm at the Grand Island Public Library. Each meeting the kids will help decorate the Teen Area, arrange book displays, and provide input into future programs that the library offers. It’s a great way for teens to meet teens from other schools and make new friends. They also can receive an hour of community service for each meeting they attend!

Our kick-off meeting will be on September 1st, 2026, at 6pm. We will be celebrating with Pizza. We are asking for registration, so we know how much pizza to order.
