Nebraska softball players Hannah Coor, Jordyn Frahm and Ava Kuszak were deemed Big Ten Players to Watch for the 2026 season, the conference announced on Thursday.

Coor, a transfer outfielder from Oklahoma, is in her first year with the Huskers. She was a three-time national champion at OU and played in 152 games with 25 starts with the Sooners. Coor totaled a .239 batting average with 31 hits and 23 RBIs, while also boasting a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage.

Frahm continues to add to the preseason accolades, as she was already tabbed a preseason All-American by D1 Softball and Softball America and was named to the Top 50 Watchlist for USA Softball’s Player of the Year. Frahm was a First-Team All-American in 2025 and was the NFCA Player of the Year. The two-way athlete was also the Big Ten Player of the Year and Big Ten Pitcher of the Year, the first player to earn both awards in the same season.

Kuszak was also named to the Top 50 Watchlist for the USA Softball Player of the Year and was a D1 Softball preseason All-American. She was a member of the All-Big Ten and NFCA All-Region first teams in 2025.

Frahm and Kuszak return the two highest batting averages on the team at .462 and .412, respectively, which rank first and seventh in Nebraska softball history. The two are both in the top 10 in school history in batting average, runs, home runs, extra-base hits, RBIs, total bases and slugging percentage.

Nebraska will open its season on Friday, Feb. 6 against Washington at the UTSA Invitational in San Antonio, Texas. The game is set to start at 1:05 p.m. (CT).
