Tribute to Women Event Approaching

The YWCA Adams County is ready to celebrate the stars of Hastings at the annual Tribute to Women event on Monday April 29th at 7pm. The organization welcomed nominations for exceptional women who champion other women, make significant contributions to the community through volunteer and professional organizations, and demonstrate unwavering commitment to eliminating discrimination within our local area.

This year’s nominees include:
High School: Kinlee Bruce, Abigail Fielder, Kelyn Henry-Perlich
College: Hayley Homan
Young Professionals: Nichole Bryant, Hannah Jensen-Heitmann, Chelby Schlichtman, Dani Schwinn, and Katherine Shaw
50+ Rockstars: Sharon Brooks, Christy Schutte, and Cindy Uden.

The event will be located at the YWCA 2525 W 2nd St Suite 110. Guest speaker will be Janelle Ehrke founder and CEO of Grow Nebraska. Tickets are $20, including dessert. For further information, contact Laura Stutte, Executive Director, at 402-462-8821.

YWCA of Adams County is dedicated to eliminating racism, empowering women, and promoting peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all. The YWCA of Adams County improves the economic self-sufficiency of women and families in Adams, Clay, Webster and Nuckolls counties by providing multiple education
programs and opportunities. The programs the YWCA offers include a free after-school program for at-risk middle school youth, dinner program during the school year, School of Dance, youth outreach and education programs, career closet, resume assistance and many other educational and diversity opportunities 
for women of all ages, economic and social status.
