June 23, 2025 (Omaha, Neb.) — A Nebraska State Trooper was injured this evening in Omaha when the trooper’s patrol unit was struck by a large truck.
The incident occurred at approximately 8:30 p.m. Monday. Troopers were performing traffic control on Interstate 80 near 50th Street as the Omaha Police Department was handling a single-vehicle crash in the area.
