(Merrick County, NE) - Over the weekend following an investigation from the Merrick County Sheriff's Office in the 100 block of Russell Road in rural Merrick County. Deputies responded to the address to investigate multiple issues and discovered several criminal violations which resulted in charges.
KELLY J. SNYDER (46) of Merrick County was arrested for the following charges:

-Possess of Controlled Substance (F)
-Cruelty/Mistreatment Animals-6 Counts (M)
STEVEN C. JOHNSON (47) of Merrick County was arrested for the following charges:
-Child Abuse (F)

-Cruelty/Mistreatment Animals-6 Counts (M)
