U-Save Pharmacy Walks it Off to Keep Season Alive

U-Save Pharmacy erased a two-run deficit in the final two innings for a 3-2 win over the Scottsbluff Westco Zephyrs in elimination play at the A7 Senior area tournament in Grand Island. 

Josiah Gilbert tossed a three hitter and struck out five to pick up the win.

Owen Latham pitched six strong innings for Scottsbluff on just 79 pitches He had a perfect game through four and a no-hitter through five. 

Jared Mack singled to begin the sixth and scored on Brody Meyer's single. 

Eric Sabala began the seventh for Scottsbluff and took the loss.

 Emilio Romero walked. Bodie Millan singled. After Aaron Mack walked, Nomar Quezada drew a bases loaded walk to tie the game. Pinch runner Jarid Fischer scored the tying run.

Scottsbluff changed pitchers. Jared Mack put the ball in play and it was booted by the shortstop to allow Millan to score the winning run.
