Vikings Run Rule York, 10-0

(Grand Island, NE) - Home runs galore helped the Northwest softball team to its 16th win on Monday night, defeating York, 10-0. 

Libby Loman would have a two-run home run in the first and a solo home run in the 3rd inning.  Abby Dinkelman would smack a grand slam in the 2nd inning. Alexis Glaze hit a home run to left field in the 3rd inning. 

Libby Loman would get the win in the circle for the Vikings, pitching all four innings,s tossing the no-hitter, only giving up 2 walks, and striking out 6 Dukes on 61 pitches. 

Northwest has now won 14 games in a row to move its record to 16-2. Northwest will be back in action on Saturday, September 27th, at the Crete Invitational.
