Wells Wins Class C State Golf Title. Cats Finish 3rd - GICC 4th
(Columbus, NE) - St. Paul Wildcat graduate Sam Wells captured the Class C Individual title in Columbus on Wednesday at the Elks Country Club. The state tournament was an 18-hole event after Tuesday's action was stormed out. Wells won a one-hole playoff for the title after shooting a 73. It's the first individual title in school history. The Cats took a 3rd place finish in the team standings. Jack Alberts placed T6th with a 76 as GICC takes 4th place as a team.
