Wildcats dominate Home Invite.
They say there is no place like home.
That was the case Thursday for the St. Paul Wildcats as they hosted their annual Golf Invite at the St. Paul Country Club. The Cats placed all five of their varsity roster in the top 11 securing the Invite Championship by a whopping 23 strokes over Central City scoring under 300 with a score of 298 to the Bison's 321.
Beau Paro led the way for the Cats as the senior shot -4 securing the Individual title over Karter Negus by two strokes. Jackson Wegner finished with a 74 for Third Place, Maddox Quinn shot a 77 for Fifth Place, Casen Kavan with a 79 to finish 8th while Sawyer Kavan took an 80 for 11th Place.
The championship gives the team their fourth of the early season. St. Paul will face another stiff field coming up Tuesday as they head to Kearney for the Kearney Catholic Stars Invite at Meadowlark Hills.
