Wildfire Conditions Near Critical Today

- Key Message #1:
- Due to unseasonably-warm temperatures (highs in the 70s), somewhat-breezy winds (gusts up to around 25 MPH some places), and low relative humidity (RH) area-wide (as low as at least 15-20%), our ENTIRE forecast area is considered to have "near-critical" wildfire conditions today. 

- Key Message #2:
- The most favorable areas to see winds gusts to at least 25 MPH for at least 3 hours this afternoon are: 1) in our far northern forecast area (Valley/Greeley/Sherman/Howard counties) and...2) also our far southern forecast area (Rooks/Osborne/Mitchell counties). As a result, these are the only counties in our forecast area under formal Red Flag Warnings.
