Women Who Care – Hall County to Host Second Quarterly Giving Meeting August 11

Hall County, NE — Following an inspiring inaugural gathering that brought together more than 150 women and generated $15,300 for the Hall County Historical Society, Women Who Care – Hall County, a collective giving circle that empowers women through philanthropy, will host its second quarterly giving meeting on Tuesday, August 11, at Riverside Golf Club.
 
Doors will open at 5:00 p.m., with programming beginning at 5:30 p.m.
 
Women Who Care – Hall County brings women together to make a meaningful impact by combining individual quarterly contributions into significant grants for nonprofit organizations serving Hall County.
 
“We weren’t sure what to expect for our first meeting, but it was so much fun to see everyone as excited as we were,” said Erin Marsh, founding member of the steering committee. “Seeing so many women rally behind the Hall County Historical Society reminded us just how powerful collective giving can be.”
 
Each meeting follows a member-driven process. Members nominate local nonprofit organizations they are passionate about, and three nominated organizations are randomly selected to be featured. Fellow Women Who Care members, including volunteers, board members, and community advocates, then give five-minute presentations on behalf of each organization. Then, all members vote to determine which nonprofit will receive the group’s collective quarterly grant.
 
Membership is open to all women who want to invest in the future of Hall County. Members commit to contributing $100 per quarter, while women under 40 can participate at $50 per quarter, making it easier for younger women to begin their philanthropic journey while joining a powerful network of women committed to strengthening Hall County.
 
“One of the things I love most about Women Who Care is that anyone can make a real difference,” said Dana Rosacker, member of the steering committee. “You don't have to start a nonprofit or organize a fundraiser. You simply join with other women who care, and together we create an incredible impact while building relationships with women who are committed to strengthening our community.”
 
Women interested in becoming members are encouraged to attend the August 11 meeting and experience firsthand how collective giving can create lasting community impact.
