Yard Waste Site to Close for the Season

Grand Island, Neb. — The Grand Island Public Works Department would like to issue notice that the Yard Waste Site, which is located on Monitor Road just north of Old Potash Highway, will be closed for the season beginning Monday, December 15.

Please note that Grand Island residents can still dispose of yard waste for free during the winter months by entering the main entrance to the transfer station located at 5050 West Old Potash Highway during normal operating hours. The operating hours for the transfer station are 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday.
